Atlanta-based visual communicator, Toshé (Shay) Phillips, has been honing her skills in visual communications for over a decade. Originally a commercial photographer, Shay found interest in taking her imagery to the next level by making them move and pairing them with text, shapes, and colors. Between her years of experience, her degrees in visual communication, photography, and media design, she is packed with creative value and insight.

Shay’s artistic evolution has allowed her to now brand a business, event, or person from start to finish, complete with photography, videography, and graphic design. Currently, as the marketing and communications director at Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Shay is often designing signage, taking photo and video content, and then producing and editing a video package for each event and campaign. Shay’s work has been seen on billboards, published in magazines, and is currently on display inside of many businesses and organizations across Atlanta. She is also currently an on-set photographer for BET productions including The Ms. Pat Show.

In her free time, you can catch her expressing herself in her other artistic forms, singing, and dancing. Although she creates for a living, you can also find her creating alongside her husband (also an artist), who she co-owns a business. She also loves to travel and go on mission trips to her favorite country, Malawi Africa. And on a regular day at home, you can find her cuddled up with her favorite furry friend, Kobe.
